  1. Forgetting what I own...

    At the end of the summer I finally bought myself a new bow, a proper Leftie bow, as opposed to the shoot-through, ambidexrious one that I've been using for the last few years. I have really liked the feel of the new bow (a Merlin XV for those interested) and have set new pb's indoors and even set a new county record. If I have one thing to complain about it's the quality of the bow string/cables. Not as nice as I would like.

  2. When it doesn't quite click...

    After a small turn up at practice we decided to make full use of the hall space and shoot a FITA25. I usually quite like 25's. I know that I don't score anymore on them than I do with 18's but I find they make a nice change.

    However I wasn't too pleased with how Sunday went.

    I can't say that I shot badly, however much I grumble. There was only the single arrow that was outside of the nine ring (an eight). For me that's about usual. But I just didn't seem to be able ...
  3. Not long till the season starts again...

    Tis the season to be jolly, fa la la la la, la la la la... It is also only a few days until the Outdoor season starts again and all the joys (rain, wind, sleet, snow, hail, fog, etc) can be enjoyed to the fullest.
