  2. X10 Spontaneous De-construction

The term "Spontaneous De-construction" is a term I once heard to descrbe an aircraft blowing up. It happens in archery, but a touch less dramatic perhaps.

Saying that, I have decided that the SAA field champs at the end of the month will be my last one. Time to move aside and let the new blood take over, shoot a bit more and relax :-)

  5. The Great Indoor Experiment

    The Great Indoor Experiment

Well, that was a busy indoor season and, as usual, full of little experiments.

During an idle conversation with a fellow archer at the National Indoors tournament in December, the subject of bow weight cropped up. An eminent archer on the England team suggested I experiment with dropping my bow weight. The suggestion being that it was easier to control a lower poundage bow, and especially for the shorted distances involved in indoor shooting. ...
