    Bow stand for Eclipse?

I am currently (trying to) use a W&W Viper stand with my Hoyt Eclipse, but it isn't really satisfactory. The rest for the handle doesnt engage very well, and the bow tends to fall forward.

I like the 'upright' positioning of the 'handle+stabliser support' style stands - can anyone suggest a good option to use with the Eclipse?

(first post btw - Hello everyone.)

I have an Eclipse and I use a pod stand from Skorten, available through Targetcraft. It holds the bow horizontally, though.

    Cheers

    Welcome to the forum!

Have you considered the Cartel RX-10? It's their copy of the Atlanta bowstand (with some improvements) and comes in a range of colours . Its one of the few good Cartel products and works fine with my Gold Medalist (can't see why an Eclipse wouldn't work too). You can see a picture on Merlin's website http://www.merlinarcherycentre.co.uk...Bow_stand.html

The retail price is about 25 but I got mine for 20 or thereabouts. Shop around for a good deal.

I have one of these on the way
i`ve been using a pod stand
but have never been happy with my limbs being that close to the floor
(well infact one is on the floor)
just a bit risky that someone will step on it one day.

Does anyone have pics of an RX-10 "in action"? For some reason I'm having a hard time figuring out how the bow is supposed to sit on it. How do you mean "upright"?

Am also shooting with an Eclipse and want to make sure I get a stand that fits the bow - didn't realise it could be an issue!
