Hello All,
Sorry to bother you but hope someone can answer a question regarding the Carter Evolution and Evolution+ release aids.

I know that they are the back tension type but wonder if they can they be used as a trigger type like the Just B Cuz+ ?

Thanks for reading and be gentle on this recurver. :)

They could be used as a Cascade 8 kinda way, if you set the trigger poundage low enough that it goes off when you come off the safety...

Does that mean you need to hold the trigger down as the safety then? I know silly question but BowSelecta has piqued my interest also!!

Well the Evo isn't a trigger release, so the mechanisms inside won't work in a trigger-to-fire as a traditional trigger release would. As it only has a safety, the only way you could set it so it could be shot purposely would be to set the holding weight of the release lower than the holding weight of the bow, so the Evo goes off as soon as the safety is released.

If you want a traditional trigger type release, but in an Evo shape, the Carter Sensation uses the same body.
