How long can I keep it strung

Hi,
How long can I keep my recurve strung up? Just while I'm using it. For the whole day I'm using it. A week, a month, forever?
Thanks

Many people keep their bows strung up for long periods, often over a year with no detrimental effects.

My old recurve was strung for about 6 months (it fitted in the car like that and saved set up time when shooting - and yes, I'm pretty lazy) and didn't seem to suffer any ill effects. Although I presume it depends on what string material you use and what your limbs are made from.

ok, is it worth finding out, to find out if something will hapen you have to do it, but for what, 2 mins max when you get at the ground is it worth it.
