    Nasty 'Suprise'

Shooting this morning with my brand new Win&Win Suprise bow.

At full draw and heard an ominous crack and crunch, and found
that the top limb had almost broken in two.

Not a sound I want to hear again in a hurry.

I hope this is a one-off, if only for the sake of the clubs
who've apparently been buying these in their hundreds
    for their beginners to use.

I take it you didn't suffer an injury??? Hope this was just a one off and not a common problem!!

No injuries, just my shattered nerves

And one of the fanastic people at the club have offered me
the use of one of their bows until a replacement comes through.

What's less good is the response I've just had from Alternative Sporting Services who I bought the limbs from.

Rang this morning to find out how to return them and the rude, arrogant, unhelpful chap on the phone wouldn't tell me whether they had replacement limbs in stock, made it clear he couldn't be bothered to find out, and when I asked when he would be able to tell me, I was yelled at and had the phone slammed down on me.

This is one customer they won't be hearing from again.

That is absolutely abysmal I don't think I've ever seen a limb break under normal use, and I would have thought that the dealer would have been only too anxious to check your bow to ascertain the cause - if it is a design fault then they could be looking at someone getting a serious injury.

    regards,

    Kev
