    Sights...

Anyone have an Arten Olympic sight?
Would you recommend it or not?

What sight do you use? How much did it cost and How do you rate it?
    L plate at the ready....

    I have two sights...

a cartel K sight ( also know as a Q sight at quicks)...not very good..

a (arco sport) spigarelli Carbon 30.... a really nice sight, but probably not worth the 95-120 that various dealers are asking for it....got it 2nd hand from ebay.

I know lots of people with an Olympic.....by far the most common sight used at my club. Only one person I have spoken to has not been gushing with praise for it.

oooh fingers x'd it's a good sight then!
not purchased yet, but hoping too.. just wanted to see what the experts think!
I've found it for 85 and 90 - 90 being at Chiltern, so works out as easy as the 85 by the time you add postage.

Are sights all 'universal' in fitting to a riser? If say the riser was a Hoyt and/or a Samick?

Had an Olympic, sold it, don't regret it at all.

While it was pretty good once upon a time, when you've got something like the Arc Systeme out there that just blows it away there's no logical reason to buy it.

Have just looked at Altservices - they want 90 quid for an Olympic, and Bowsports want 85! I paid 65 for mine several years ago and thought it was a bit pricy... now it's just a complete ripoff. Avoid it.
If you make something idiot proof, all that happens is someone builds a better idiot.
