We are very short on info for Marksman bows. Do you have info or a photo of a Marksman bow you would like to share?
This is all we have at the moment

I've got an old Marksman bow brochure somewhere....
I'll see if I can dig it out and post some pictures from it. It dates from towards the end of Marksman's existence, so covers a range from the KG1 up to the Monarch(?) - the zig-zaggy one with Hoyt fitting limbs....

That would be great Rik, thanks!

I have a couple of Marksman Meteors and a Challenger, that i could photograph if I could find the camera!
I believe the ILF Marksman Rik was referring to might have been the Ikon - funnily enough an old member who shoots with one has just returned to the club, so I might be able to photo that as well, though it was a special version to suit his wheelchair.

Thanks Furface
All photos appreciated. If the bow has a story all the better

Ikon - that's the one. Hmmm, wonder where I got "Monarch" from....
We've got a couple of KG1s knocking around somewhere, one well over 20 years old, the other a bit less than that...
My old KG1 was my first serious bow - I bought it second hand off another student back in about 1987.

I have uploaded a couple photos of my KG1. It was a very popular bow so a few more photos of the KG1 would be great.

I think there was a "Monarch" at around the same time as the Icon

Yeah there was a Monarch. When did Marksman close up shop?? We are only cataloguing pre-1990 bows at the moment...

Sometime in the late nineties? Early noughties?
Before 2004, I think. Definitely after 1997. I can recall reporting it on an Archery Board (probably Sagi), but I can't find a trace of it now... Maybe if I could find the Sagi archives...
