Do you by any chance know where I could buy some limbs for a TD 75?
Many thanks.

There is still one ex marksman bow being made. Pete Bakewell, oe of Marksman's bowyers had permission to continue to make the Rebel Field bow and makes this along with some superb longbows. I have an old left hand Forest Princess I picked up at a car boot. I will photo it and upload.

In the Blue
Hi,
Dont know how wiki things work, but if its of any interest I've got a 63" Marksman Olympic TS4 Serial No 8648(32 lb @ 26")
On my rack of old and new bows. Also I learnt to shoot with a Forest Princess back in 1984 and subsequently went on to a KG1. Can send photos of the Olympic if you want.
Dennis.

Hi Dennarcher
Unfortunately the wiki got "broken" after one of the forum updates. Saying that, email me some pics and I will put them in this thread if you like.

I have just found this thread, so my contribution is that I live only 8 miles from where Marksman were,at Welbeck, and that my second bow was a Marksman 'Imperial', which I unfortunately let go when I took up serious rifle and pistol shooting. It was a low number of the limited edition 250 made and a gorgeous metallic green colour.

I've come across this ad for the Marksman "Monarch Mark 2" -from the rear of the NIA World Champs programme for 1995.
Don't recall seeing these on the shooting line though.Probably a bit too angular in style for today's tastes......

Aha... aka the "Batwing" - came out around the time of one of the Tim Burton Batman films...

Newbie here. I found this site as I was looking to see if there was any info about my old bow - I have a Marksman Monarch. I haven't shot for a number of years now, but I practised Archery for about 15 years starting as a junior. First bow was a TD75, then I had a Hoyt GM with Border limbs for a while (which I never really gelled with to be honest) before geting hold of Monarch and a few different sets of carbon foam limbs. I still have the Monarch in the loft and could get some pics of my setup if you're interested.
