    Damaged nock removal help

I have a damaged nock in an ACC arrow. As I try to remove it the insert also starts to come out of the arrow. What is the best way to get the nock out of the insert?

    Thanks, Dave

Take the insert out, it's already loose. Jab nock from insert. Re-glue the insert in the shaft and place new nock (no glue!)

    Thanks ThomVis,

I removed the insert, heated a nail up and melted out some of the nock. Then screwed a wood screw into what was left of the nock and pulled, I managed to remove the rest. Re-glued the insert back into the shaft and inserted a new nock.
All a bit of a faff!
Will buy some spare inserts for if it happens again.

    cheers, Dave
