I saw a message on one of the archery shop websites recently warning that delivery of ex-primes would now be sketchy as they are being phased out in favour of the newer (and much more expensive) Wiawis NS limbs. Is there any truth in this? I'm currently using Rapido limbs but in order to improve from third to second class I'm trying to shoot 60 and 70 metres more frequently and feel I'm in need of going up in poundage/. Like most people, if I'm going to change something i'd like to upgrade to something better and thought ex-primes would be the ideal choice. The difference in price between ex-primes and NS limbs though is massive (on average about ?120) and I don't think as a third class archer chasing second I'm good enough to notice the possibly marginal improvement that ?120 buys - I'd rather spend that on a set of new arrows. If the rumour is true I guess I'm going to have to take the plunge and buy the ex=primes sooner rather than later before they are discontinued.
