hi all, i've just got some ace's and am trying out some beiter in/out nocks which are quite a loose fit and can turn quite easily. is it ok to put a dab of fletching glue on the shaft of the nock to stiffen it up in the arrow shaft?

different methods I've seen suggested are

insert the nock through PTFE tape
carefully chew the insert bit to make it a tighter fit
a thin layer of nail polish
put a small length of serving thread down the snaft before inserting the nock

Eastons suggest the use of 'rubber' glue (presumably Cow Gum or similar? They also say that some fletching cements are alright but that it is important to test the nock with the glue first and if it weakens at all then don't use it. They do describe how to do the test in their tuning and maintenance guide.
