    new limbs, ACE or x-tour?

I'm planning to up grade limbs to add more pounds, actually I have the formula 720 on 27" prodigy xt. 43# @33" with just one turn on the top limb, limbs are 34#, my goal is to reach 45/47# for the nex summer. Looking at the Easton chart, need the Easton ace 370, right now I have the 430 31,5" with pin nock and 100gr point but are still weak for me.

What are the main difference between carbon ace and the x-tour?
Maybe one model are faster and lighter than others?

    Here my draw length

The ACE one of the lightest and fastest arrows aluminium carbon arrows you can get with a massive range of point weights. Although you can quite happily use them, the X10 Protours are designed for Compound and taper from thick at the nock to thin at the point. The standard X10 is the barrelled one like the ACE.

I shoot X10 Protours with my Compound and I have X10s for my recurve but I'm just in the process of setting up some ACEs. Basically, the advice I got was that the X10s work better with heavier limbs and in windier weather and since I only currently pull 32lbs at 28.5" I'd be better off with ACEs.

I couldn't tell you the differences between those Hoyt limbs sorry, I just find it funny that of all the names Hoyt/Easton could use for their limbs and arrows, they still end up naming them virtually the same!
