    Tab maintenance

After the soaking at Penrith on Saturday, Littlest has carefully dried out everything, but her Cavalier tab (leather facing) looks like curling up and stiffening. Any advice on what to use to keep it in the best condition?

switch to an OBeron face, is one suggestion. or use saddle soap on the leather face. that should soften it up.

    Oberon

Here's an idea... Try replacing the leather & that useless orange backing stuff with 2 layers of Oberon (Available from Arrowhead Archery). It looks like sponge & you'll think it won't work... but it really does. Strangley enough, it seems to like the rain too! And it's relatively cheap. Well worth thinking about.

Sorry to sound like a broken record but OBERON

I used it at Panthers on the Essex Field Champs on Sunday and got soaked big time. Dont remember shooting in rain like it. The oberon kept the arrows straight. The rain dropped my 60mt sight by 3MM but it was all still straight and true.

to actually answer the question; I find that trying to make sure the tab drys flat helps, and rubbing in a little baby oil cures the stiffness.
If only keeping it simple wasn't so complicated

Apply talc between the layers when dry.
