Hoyt limb weight adjustment limit
Hi, I've just taken delivery of my new (used, obviously) Hoyt Rintec bow, my first compound. I want to decrease the draw weight and have turned both the adjustment bolts anticlockwise a couple of rotations each.
Then it occured to me that there might be a problem if I turn too far. Nothing in the manual or on the web sight is helpful, and I'm visualising limbs falling of and all sort of damage.
Can anyone tell me if I can turn anticlockwise to the bows lowest weight without causing problems, how will I know I'm there?
Because the bow is not new I don't know if the two adjustment bolts have previously always been kept equally adusted, so turning to one extreme end will allow me to equalise them.
Sorry to be long winded. Any advice on sights for this bow also much appreciated. Thanks
