Border Talisman Gold Recommended Brace Height
Hi, I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for the brace height for the above limbs (as I know with the modern Border limbs its recommended you use a low one).
The limbs are Short, and the riser is a 24" BMG. BMG give a range of 215 to 230mm.
Many Thanks

Does the BMG riser have conventional limb pad angles?
For example, does it provide the marked weight on the limbs at 28"
our limbs are marked at minimum bolt positions on a normal 25" riser.
If thats the case then 8.25-8.75" should work about fine.

Hi,
Many thanks for your quick reply.
I'm not sure if the BMG has conventional limb pads or not - but I assume it does. I'll give your recommendations a go and see how I get on.
Best Regards

My long Talisman Gold limbs on a 25in riser worked well at about 9 1/8in bracing height. I'd guess with short limbs on a 24in riser - making a 65in bow - you'd close to 8in.

BMG has approximately conventional angles, however it is an odd length - 24" so weight might vary over stated.
