Introducing the world's only Border HEX6 BB2 guitar plectrum!

While in the NE I popped across the border to, well, say hello to Border.

After seeing I had my guitar with me, Sid let me in on the next Border product idea. In fact, he knocked up a prototype right there and then...

With its superior torsional rigidity, this plectrum makes the strings ring clear and true, and playing speed is increased by 14fps (frets per second).

Seriously though, it's a lovely thing. Very rigid. Ta Sid

    Very rigid.
I prefer mine more flexible, much more forgiving of a bad note

I could never learn to play with a plectrum. Maybe Sid can make me a left handed thumb pick (might be more difficult to make than the HEX6 limbs). I wonder if it would give me a more bluesy sound? Or better yet, and much easier, a guitar slide.

    quote from Wiki:

"A slide can be made with any type of smooth hard material that allows tones to resonate."

that kinda rules out carbon? or is the resonate bit to do with the string and not the slide itself?

nice mac ebony would match the fretboard? would one the shape of the a plec help? tubed out to fit a finger through? for example the kind the shape of the weinkle engine "piston"...
