Fletching Protectors

I seen someone on youtube with some kind of tubing over the front of his vanes, I'm guessing these stop them from catching on something and pulling up, I was wondering what these are called and if there is something similar for traditional arrows?

Is it a tubing or a thin strip of adhesive tape wrapped round the front edge to prevent the corners getting lifted up if they go in the grass?

If you look at sites selling spin wings, you can buy the vanes and the tape to stick them to the shafts. That tape is called fletching tape,( not surprising ,really)Then in the list comes Anchor tape. That is the tape you wrap round the shaft to keep the ends from lifting. Many archers wrap both ends of the fletchings.
