Wooden Arrow Point removal

I have recently broken a few wooden arrows. I would like to remove the point and reuse if possible.

They are Brass Taper points with glue.

Any ideas ?

Thanks.

What glue did you use? If it's Araldite type of glue get a long screw. Screw it into the wood embedded in the point. Heat the point up over a low flame on a gas hob etc holding screw with a pair of pliers. Take point out of flame and grip it with another pair of pliers. Pull screw and wood out of the point ;)

Make a bonfire with the busted arrows, have a beer and a sing song around the bonfire and maybe a weeny roast. When the fire goes out you will have just the piles left and ash to put on the roses. Sod the dremmel.

I like to use the blow torch method...... faster than a low flame. Catch the points in a metal container and let them cool.

But the beer and fire method sounds like a nice alternative
