My last large item order was my messengers bag from Merlin, as expected they put my scope and bits n bobs in the bag so that time it was a win as far as post costs, due to the size of it, the post cost was 7 odd which was fine.

A few years back before Royal Mail changed thay are way the measuring packages it was more by weight than size. But now evan a large ish birthday card cost more than you may expect, so it's partly Royal Mail that caused the higher costs. Companies such as DHL etc tend to be a little more competitive with larger items.

    Hi Kernowald

Are you sure about the cost. I just checked Bowsports. Their single ACG arrows including shipping and VAT are 20.50 (14.50 for the arrow and 6.30 shipping)

The P&P needs to reflect what's being sent; a high minimum charge is very off putting.

I've spent about 2k on kit in the last six months so I am willing to spend but certain charges annoy me and many others.
To be fair, you are paying for postage; it's just factored into the price.

And arrows are always a killer WRT postage as they are so big, so you pay a lot even though they are light. It's prohibitive to buy just one except in person. I always buy mine in batches.

Well the stand arrived and it's not very big at all!
Still think any more than 3 is way OTT for such a small, light item.
