I am amazed at how little AGB have shouted about this - it is a major and probably truth be told an unexpected result remember the USA now have to wait over 12 months (Berlin 2020) to try and get one of the 3 team places for both men and women......

Anyone watching the international scene this year would realise that every one all over the world coming in to the World Champs had upped their game - it's great to see GBR being part of it. They have all worked hard and some put archery before careers and jobs to get there.

This could be the start of putting AGB back on the international map especially how well they have followed it up today - and more opportunities next week. A chance to get more outside money in to the sport to benefit all archers.

Why is it that Archery is on the Red button but not a peep out of the BBC in the News or any BBC sports programme it's not as if they do not have the footage.

Perhaps realising the home nations could win medals in archery they were a bit hasty in not including Archery in Birmingham.

You mean like this story from when they qualified the spots, or this story when they won bronze? With the cricket world cup, womens football world cup, tennis, cycling (plus all the regular news) the stories weren't going to be headline for more than an hour, but both were on the front page of the sports section of the bbc website for a couple of days.

there is almost no coverage of the European Games on the BBC (though perhaps because exclusive rights belong to BT Sport*?), though it does mention that the games have begun... I mean, there's no mention of the Judo bronze we won either...

    * - and they do mention that there's Olympic qualification spots available for archery, shooting and table tennis... though fail to include archery as one of the "three sports qualified for Tokyo 2020" (equestrian, sailing and shooting)

If the BBC were not interested in archery why did they put it on the red button.
The BBC due to intense competition have lost just about every sport they used to cover and sport is now fragmented all over different channels. This was an opportunity to put 15 seconds on the news that would not cost them anything compared to 2-3000 to show a few premier league goals.
Just because other minority sports are not getting coverage is not an excuse for AGB not to fight their corner. - Golf, Darts, Snooker, F1, etc were minority sports at one time.
