You need a set of handicap tables. You look up the "allowance for round" for your handicap and the round you shot, and add it to your actual score. If you shot "to handicap" it will add up to about 1440.Hi folks. I've now got an agb handicap, by way of the SA indoor rankings at least, of 44.
But how is this used to adjust a score shot in a round?
I thought it was something like, but the only tables I've seen are to get a handicap. You need a set of handicap tables. You look up the "allowance for round" for your handicap and the round you shot, and add it to your actual score. If you shot "to handicap" it will add up to about 1440.
When everyone has their adjusted scores, you can see who won on handicap.
It's the same book. One section lets you work out the handicap, the other gives the allowances.I thought it was something like, but the only tables I've seen are to get a handicap.

You can do it with just the one table (thats how it was done in the old days)It's the same book. One section lets you work out the handicap, the other gives the allowances.
