Hi people- a noobish question for you- I am swiching half my dozen plat plus over from 3 inch parabolic feathers to 70mm rainbow Kurly vanes tomorrow:yummy:- the shafts are all cleaned and ready to go and I have read over the instructions on how to use the fletching tape supplied but there are none on how to use the black tape to top and tail them :( I have only used glue before when fletching so don't know how to top and tail with tape- do I wrap the tape around the whole perimeter of the arrow shaft or cut small bits off to place at the most anterior and posterior part of the vane?

Use the tape to go all the way around the shaft but be carefull not to cover too much of the vane as it'll distort.
Make sue you overlap the same amount on each vane.
You can just use a dab of glue on each end of the vane if you think the tape will be too fiddly.
