What thread for stabilizer/weight

As the title say, What is the spec of the thread used on the bow riser for attaching stabilizers/weights?
I know its 5/16 but is it UNF or UNC?
I have access to a workshop to get stuff made so I can get some nice bespoke stuff knocked up :)

(btw, how come the industry still uses imperial thread? Surely it'd be a lot easier to go with standard metric these days?)

A lot of "stuff" is made in America - thus the imperial. Up until a good few years ago Yamaha also made archery equipment - it was very good - and they had metric threads so that kept everyone on their toes making sure clickers and stabs etc would fit on the bow :D

5/16 unf if memory serves me correctly. It's same for all bows now since the Yamaha production stopped & 8mm (M8) disappeared.
If you have facilities, count the number of threads per inch (tpi) and any data sheet will give you the spec for unf/unc.
