    Photos of good groups

Thought this would be fun, and an opportunity for us all to brag.

I'll kick start with this from last night, my last end of a half-Portsmouth round (that's all we have time to shoot):

Shame it wasn't a little lower and a little further right, but I can't complain

Well here are a few that I have to hand. Not so much good groups but ends I was proud enough to take photo's of.

    score of 57 @ 70mts shooting compund

a score of 50 and 52 @ 80 yds last year shooting recurve

Best end of the day at 50mts last year shooting recurve

2 arrows shot at 110yds trying to hit a rather small target off my Mongolian style bow

A rather good 3 arrows shot at 30mts on the field practice butts at the Birthday weekend saturday afternoon

    A 54 score @50yds shooting recurve

    And finally a 56 score @ 70mts shooting recurve

These may not seem good groups (apart for the 30mt one) but they were ends I was happy enough with on the day to take a photo.

images that i ahve uploaded, one is my first attemp at shooting a 80cm face at 40meters, the other is a pic of a 40cm target at 18m.
not great i know but then i need more practice, only problem is college finals are kinda getting in the way.
well thats my excuse and im sticking to it...

oh oh oh found this one. its my best ever practice end at 18m @ 18m on a 40cm fita face. yeah like this one reminds me that i can do it, just have to learn how to repeat same at wil.

    Graham Potts' group...not mine

I'm posting this one on behalf of Graham Potts. The end was shot in practice on 16 April and was his first ever 60 end at 70m - using a compound.

    I am amazing!

Playing about, having got a reasonable tune, indoors @ 18m. You'll note that I couldn't be bothered to fletch all of the shafts.

This isn't actually a group, it's the last arrow of the Lytchett Eliminator a few years ago. Almost the windiest shoot I've ever done! This is the game they play after the Western, while the scores are being added up: divide up the competitors into groups. All shoot one arrow at your group's target. Furthest arrow out has to drop out. Shuffle all the groups along to keep the numbers per target up. Repeat until there are only 2 left...

Nice tight group at 40 metres, one went astray because it hit one of the other nocks.

The only way to group on a first arrow kill, is to make sure all five in your group hit it in the kill
