Creaky limbs

Hi,

Any ideas whats causing my limbs to creak. They are the wood core wia wis limbs, medium, 42lb about 18 months old and shot twice a week on average.

My draw is 27.5 and pulling 42lb otf. The riser is an Inno CXT with limb bolts set about half way in/out.

I have noticed that there's a creak from the limbs during the draw, it's either on the 1st third of the draw or the last third of the draw. Sometimes it's top limb and other times it's the bottom limb.

I have tried to re-string the bow and it can settle down for a few ends then comes back.

Any ideas.

Put some grease or talc around the limb pockets and see if that makes a difference?
Get someone to stand with you and try to pinpoint the source?
Get someone else to draw it and see if you can do the same...?

If it isn't the riser end of the limbs, it might be the string loops rubbing or even the grip creaking if that is a separate part.
