    Easton ACE point weight

    Hi,

I have Easton ACE 470 spine shafts and when bareshaft tuning the arrows are coming off stiff (about 10" right of fletched at 40yds). Now I have 110 grain point in there which is the max recommended range for these spine arrows. Is it ok if I put a 120 grain point in there?
do any of you folks shoot with 'out of spec' point wieghts?

I've shot 670s with 120 grains, which probably counts... no problems. A drop in sightmark (as expected) but no real effect on spine over 100 grain points.
So, if you're trying to tweak the spine of the shaft, I suspect the 10 grain increase in weight won't do it.

Are you a leftie? That's only way your arrows are stiff. If you're a rightie, they are showing weak.
And no, either way 10g won't do it.

Hi have you tried increasing your draw weight? Maybe a full turn on both tiller bolts if you have the option may give a better result.
