limb alignment on shiny bows

I've been struggling to see my bolts/horizons/string while sorting limb alignment on my nice new shiny black riser (and old black limbs). Theres just too many bright reflections, and although I use tape on the limbs, I also like to get the string through the limb bolts as well. No lighting seems to help - bright, spotlight, natural light, outdoors, indoors etc. You'd think that bright polished steel would show up against black anodising, wouldn't you?
Well, the same principle works with limb bolts as limbs. Popped a dod of masking tape on the bolts, pushed my finger on hard to make a dent where the allen key goes, drew it in with black pen, and perfect - great visibility, and I'm confident that I've got spot on alignment.

I find them tricky to set up right...I personally think my left eyeball (when I can see what I'm looking for) does it better. ;)
