nstead of fiddling with dental floss, wrap strips of masking tape around the string.

Can be made more permanent, if needs be, by soaking in superglue.

I saw this done at the Ebor shoot (the sun had melted the dental floss!!) - it worked a treat and was done in no time at all!

I have masking tape nocking points at the moment (after removing those nasty brass ones!) The person who 'installed' the masking tape used a little supeglue and then heated it up a bit with a lighter too...

I find a reel of thread is very usefull for making nocking points and in emergency making the string a little thicker so that the arrows click on nicely.

Depends where I am, who's got what, but masking tape & nail-varnish is pretty good (any colour you like :D)

ok, this might seem like a stupid question but why not use beiter which is served in to the string or brass nocking points?

I also use old serving, tied on then fixed with nail varnish.
