    The string

Just to freshen up the award“s forum ... at the end of the summer I had encountered incident with my long hair... as the wind blew a little it has moved my hair into the wrong place at the wrong time ... resulting "the string has taken my scalp away" (only a little but painfully)
...last time I was shooting my bow as usual, wearing the hoodie and forgot to take proper care about the laces again... first warning was the lace hitting me in the face a few sessions ago... but this time I ended up nearly strangling myself a little as one end of the lace got entangled into the string firmly enough ... but I was lucky the lace didn“t burn my neck

This kind of string incidents certainly seems to be my way to work through to the award one day

Ooh, did I miss the post about getting your hair tangled in your string and nearly ripping your scalp off? Point me to it immediately, for I have just eaten a small pork pie for lunch and am in need of merriment!

Keep working on the hoodie/lace combo, Ultrafox, please get someone to take pictures/film you and keep us posted...

The time it had happened I didn“t even know about this site... It was just like... relase-pain-watching the hair peacefully sinking it“s way through the air down to the ground...

This weekend I“m planing on taking my camera to the range - curious about watching my shooting form. Never knows what will happen during the usual session... like the last time I was training with my stretchy aid and had relased the front end during anchor - I“m mainly working out the oposite side of back muscles at home so I was performing the usual relase though
the video would be fine, but it was“t worth of taking a photo as the red area wasn“t bright enough due to soft rubber handle

The story about the hoody strings does remind me of a friend of mine who was using a shoe-lace as a sling until the long dangly end got caught between the cam and the string on one shot... whoops!!

UltraFox... if you carry on like this you're going to end up with a DARWIN award... let alone a Fonz!
    Haha.

The hair one made me cringe. Yuck!

Good luck with the filming. Every time I've filmed myself shooting I've been horrified, but that inspires me to improve... some find it crushing. Expect confirmation that you're doing just fine and it could be rough. Expect to find things to work on and you'll either get what you expected or be pleasantly surprised.

I really hope to not to win the Darwin after surviving the happy days of firearms - flash of gunpowder in the face because of cracked shell; fragment of lead bullet wounding my leg (the protective glasses aren“t just for fun, this kind of thigs could happen sometimes); or my favourite story about me still standing by my target while the others started to shoot (they got scolded pretty badly by the range master who was watching me and waiting as he was in charge that day ...and even harder by me - also they nearly got kicked their butts as I“m cosidering it really bad joke, as example there was one shooter with russian WWII Mosin which can easilly pierce through a wall) - one of my mates who were not shoting that moment had promised to provide me a covering fire for me next time

I like the Fonz award forum as the stories here could be a usefull warning sometimes ... like this ones here = fix the dangly parts of your equipment! it saves trouble!
