So, I need to put a few loose fletchings back on my arrows, only half the arrows need doing, so it's not too bad a job... what I fail to notice is that since fletching these arrows last I've changed the off-set on my jig.

Nothing simple like changing from 2 degrees to 1 degree... no... from off-set to the right to off-set to the left! So they now all have a fletching pointing in the wrong direction...

Better to use a fixed helical jig for feathers and a straight for vanes?

I fletch everything straight... mostly because I don't have a helical clamp for my jig... and I'm not even sure I'll be able to get one anyway as it's an Arten one so not made any more

Ah. Missed out step 1...
1. Set the jig angle to the same as the existing fletches. :)
