    Scope magnification identification

I have a VIPER scope (1"3/8 diameter) but I do not know what the magnification is. The only marking is 'V6' which has been etched into the lens at the bottom. Does anyone know how you can identify what the magnification is please?

    As they're available in 2,3,4 or 6x magnification I would assume 6x
