    If you wear a shooting glove on your bow hand, as I do, then I wouldn't have thought the grip material makes a huge amount of difference - of course I am most probably completely wrong

    I used the bow for 2 hours last week with no handle cover just my glove. I was thinking that the bow would give a lot more shock and so some form of handle cover would be needed but after 2 hours I cant say I noticed any hand shock, so I think I will keep it bare : )
