    XS Wings..quality dropping?

I have been using XS Wings for over a year and am happy with them even though their fatality rate is higher than plastic fletches.
I ordered a new pack of 50 wings and received them the other day. They are marked exactly the same as my old ones on the packet. 50mm, low profile, fluorescent in white.
The problem is that when I replaced a fletch I noticed that the new ones were much thinner than the old ones to the point of just about being see through. Now I am faced with the question of should I have to replace three at a time instead of just replacing the damaged one.
I wondered if anyone else had noticed this. They definitely are not as stiff as the older ones and I even checked the bar code numbers on both packets and it was the same.
Is this XS Wings trying to cut costs?
