I would not recommend any compound for 'back yard' use unless you have a huge back yard. If some one does a sky draw and looses the arrow could go more than 200 yds

Looks like a cheap Chinese product.
    Be prepared for:
    - mediocre accuracy
    - some optical flaws
    - greater mechanical tolerances
    - no spare parts
    - no / limited support
If "backyard shooting" means without special requirements regarding accuracy and durability - yes, it should be o.k.
Which doesn't make the bow less deadly.

If some one does a sky draw and looses the arrow could go more than 200 yds
I tried (with sufficient space), and got almost 480 yds (at 52 lbs).

Yep Iíve had an arrow go more than 400 yards with 52lbs. And that was a fairly heavy aluminium XX75!

    EK bow

Hi why not go for it, if its in your price range, it will get you shooting and having fun. I shoot an ASD Black Monster and find it more accurate than my shooting is ever going to be.

Merlin wouldnít sell it if it was dodgy; looks okay too.
    Go for it.
