Thumbs up Short Junior National PB

So, joined ANOTHER club on Tuesday night (I'm now in 2 clubs...long story).
Shot a short junior national last night at the new club, 30 and 20 yards - got a new PB, 596 out of a possible 648, with several 6 gold ends. Whilst I'm very much not a junior, I'm working my way up to longer distances, and I was really pleased with that.
Shooting the same tonight at my 'old' club, I'm hoping I can beat 600.

Well done Emma, sounds like the long lay-off might have done more good than harm

No chance of shooting another National round last night, we spent at least 20 minutes looking for an arrow that got lost during sighters (!). Plus people kept turning up way after official start time (grrrr!). So we only got a Short Junior Warwick in instead. 396 out of a possible 432, which is another PB, but not what I wanted to get.
Will be setting up the new limbs and string on Tuesday, my coach is back off holiday. So that'll be find a whole new load of sight marks and such, and then it should be up to 40 yards on Thursday. Looking forward to a new 252 badge, and I've learned that the second club also does the FITA stars thingy. I like a badge, so I'm hoping to join in with that. It's quite interesting, I'm now getting two wholly different sets of coaching, which means I'm getting bonus points for knowing things that I 'shouldn't' know yet! The good folks on here are definitely helping with that.
I think the long enforced pay-off HAS helped, I'm much more informed now than I was in my 20s. All I wanted to do then was shoot; now I'm much more interested in the other stuff.
