Has there ever been a better designed piece of clothing for archery than the craghopper trouser?

Comes in 2 seasonal appropriate sorts (lined and unlined), fast drying, a multitude of pockets, tear resistant or at least extremely hard wearing ... it is the most awesome item for the archers wardrobe ... unless you have something better!

I have the aforementiond Craghoppers (the long ones that zip off into shorts) and they are indeed a mighty fine item of apparrel. But, in this weather I prefer to shoot in my loincloth.

they could only be imporved if both legs unzipped around the back of the leg first (my zip-offs from M&S do this). Useful for a bit of air but there are nettles/thorns preventing full shorts...

This is not exactly clothing, but the cycling arm warmers make great sleeves to fix a bracer over or inside. They are ideal for keeping other sleeves away from the string; plus you get two for the price of one.

here in glasgow, during a scottish winter we would have been in contravention of the old rule 307 - all blue is NOT our club colours! we shoot in red tops & black trousers.

:jaw-dropp Good Grief! Getting yer willy caught in a zip is bad enough...... twanged by a bow string just doesn't bear thinking about. I suppose it would give a new meaning to Long Rod though. :shy:

Craghopper trousers are brilliant. Ive got both the unlined & lined pairs & they are so comfortable. They are the only trousers that i wear when i am not at work. I did also get some tops from craghoppers that are an idea base layer for the autumn & winter.

Give me something for the pain doctor, but can you leave the swelling?
