Limbs Mybo Synergy Carbon Limbs

I'm going down to the Merlin store in Loughborough to try out some new limbs. I've been using a pair of Samick Universal glass limbs and its time for an upgrade.

I saw the Mybo Synergy Carbon limbs and wondered if anyone has tried them or has a pair? Would you recommend them? Are they comparable with the Win Win Winex or any other better known brands. Thanks for the advice on advance!!

You want some nice SF Elite like that awesome guy at ECB has... ;)

No really, I would look at the SF Elite Carbon Foam Recurve Limbs - from Merlin Archery Ltd as a direct comparison to the Synergy Carbons. THE SF Elites have a strong reputation as excellent limbs for the money.

As for Winex, having shot both the Winex (old version) and the Elites on the same bow at the same weight, the Winex definitely felt nicer, but they are much more expensive.

Thanks Butt Face!! I wonder how much of a difference there is between the new and old Winex limbs. I'll give the Elite a try if they have them in stock.

Sounds very girly but in terms of colour I like the lighter coloured limbs. So many limbs are black on both sides of the limb. That's why I had wondered about the Synergy limb. I guess I just need to try and see what I like....

Thanks Butt Face!! ...
You don't get to say that often in polite conversation :) The Synergy Air limbs are very good I think so I would imagine that the carbon ones would be very nice indeed considering the price. I have noticed that my 'air' limbs are picking up scratches quickly from normal use. Maybe the finish is a bit softer than more money could buy but otherwise they seem to behave very well indeed.

Too many 'indeeds'! I was struggling to sing their praises enough while being aware that a lot more money would probably be better in subtle ways I haven't experienced!

Thanks! Just got an email from Merlin and they are putting aside some Winex and Rapido limbs for me, I'll ask to have a go of the Synergy Carbon ones too. Really excited to try out some new equipment. I'll see what SF limbs they have too and give them a go. Anyone have any experience with Hoyt limbs? Might try some of these out too.
