    Smile First National Animal round

I wasn't too sure what to expect for a national animal round under GNAS rules and it seemed I went in a little unprepared regarding the face size and max-min distances. It's a bit tricky as FITA field allows for me to adjust my gap if the first arrow is off, but the animal round is one arrow at each of two pegs, like doing the first two NFAS pegs, but being GNAS, the obstructions in front of the target aren't as mean! Anyway, having done a themed NFAS Agincourt 600 shoot the previous weekend, I'd had a bit of practice - not nearly enough to shoot brilliantly well - but I still came away with a Lady longbow gold (pic added to my photos albums).
