    The things they say!

Today, I had a phone call from an ex British Team member and the phone call was to ask me what the colours of the target were?
Yup, this is a true story and I told him...they are white, black, blue, red and yellow (gold). I think he was happy with that. Welcome back Inky!! Keep taking those tablets.

My side of it is that as OB is one of the fita ratified target face suppliers, I asked him for the OFFICIAL colours. e.g in printers terms the Pantone colours. These are reference numbers to get exact colours but my question came out as....."What are the colours on a target face Dave?"

I hang my head in shame!

well I thought thta was probably what you meant given your credentials.

I have a colleague called Yu. It has led to a few misunderstandings and humourous moments when asking questions about him or in discussions - so we now have to refer to him by his full name. Trying to rely on the subtle difference in pronounciation between Yu and you just doesn't work we've such a collection of accents.

Similarly I have a colleague who calls herself Morning (real name Hua), it took a while at first not to say "Morning Morning"
