    I don't think AGB "invites" counties you pay your money and enter. The event has been going on for sometime at the same time each year is listed in the Magazine and online. Shame you did not know as it is virtually in Wales

    Yeah, there are no "invites". The prospectus is on the Archery GB website in the competitions part. The National County Team Tournament bit is HERE, where you'll find how to enter a team (or two). Details for next year will probably be out early next season.
    Knowing is half the battle, the other half is violence

    Yes, the only team at the National County Teams Tournament at Lilleshall in June we in Dorset & Wilts county assoc could not enter was a Ladies Longbow but we could not field a Gents Barebow we did enter too.

    County entries are not by invitation. It's down to each individual County whether they enter or not and up to that County's archers to ask them or not as per

    https://m.facebook.com/groups/165290...36049596487964

    See the prospectus and info downloads on;

    https://www.archerygb.org/shoot-comp...am-tournament/

    Team entry with AGB and payment in advance of 145 per team of 3 - total 1,160 if a County enters all eligible teams - starts from early March however you only have to name the actual archers shooting just before the event.

    We promoted heavily we were entering BB teams such as;

    7th April
    https://m.facebook.com/groups/165290...56221494470773

    12th May
    https://m.facebook.com/groups/165290...13650868727835

    We entered un-named teams of 3 (the max) for each of;

    Ladies & Gents Barebow
    Ladies & Gents Compound
    Ladies & Gents Longbow
    Ladies & Gents Recurve

    a total of 24 archers and then try to fill the places otherwise you could have found archers but find it's full to then disappoint them.

    We could not find LLB archers and sadly in the final week one GBB was injured and another ill with one week to go and the third understandably decided not to go. We could not find alternative archers though we tried our best such as

    24th June
    https://m.facebook.com/story/graphql...MTgxMzU5Nzg%3D

    We got a refund for the LLB but no refund for the GBB due to the lateness.

    The Essex and Suffolk team manager actively encourages people to put in for selection and enter these tournaments, it is down to each county team manager to put a team together and enter them, if your team manager is not doing so or you do not have one then you need to take it up with your county committee.
