2 Archers shooting on the same boss.

Hi, the latest guidance from AGB states 2 archers from different households can shoot on the same boss. Does this require shooting in detail or can they stand 2m apart on the line and shoot together at the one boss? This latter suggestion doesn't seem to fit with the requirement for target bosses to be only 3.66m apart, i.e. if each pair of archers are 2m apart the gap between the two archers closest together drops to only 1.66m thereby not maintaining the 2m social distancing requirement. Any thoughts?

you know that bosses can be any distance apart outside of tournaments right?? So there is no reason not to have bosses 4m apart down your range

Yes I realise that putting the bosses out 4m plus apart would maintain the 2m distance between archers but AGB previously reduced the spacing between bosses from 4m down to 3.66m and stated having archers from different households on the same boss could be achieved with detail shooting.

It's one or the other.

So if you have more than 4m spacing, they can shoot at the same time.
If you have the minimum 3.66m spacing, you must shoot as two details.

Easy. :)

Over here (England) there is no limit to the amount of archers shooting as long as the 2m rule is abided by.
The rule of 6 does still apply away from the shooting area.

Looked it up for NI: no more than 10, from 2 households, until 12th April. It may change to 15, no household restriction, after 12th April, but that wasn't yet approved by the Executive.
