Arrow Piles Wider than the Shafts

I have been using FMJ 500s for my field archery. They have an OD of 1/4"

I have fitted them with BAR 3 rings behind the points; this makes an already tough arrow pretty much indestructible.

For points I'm using 11/32" field points to match the wider diameter of the BAR 3 rings.

This gives me points that are 3/32" wider than the shaft, or just over 2mm in total, or 1mm all round.. The chamfer on the back of the rings blends the point to the shaft diameter with only a slight lip at the back of the ring.

As well as making the arrow so much tougher, it makes them easier to pull if you accidentally wang one into a boss support or something.

But........ is there any reason why this isn't competition legal? I had a look at the rules and all I could find was a max diameter for piles (which I am well under), a vague prohibition against large diameter piles (well they're a lot less than 9.4mm) and a suggestion not to use shouldered arrows on wooden arrows.

Any advice?

It was GNAS I was asking about. I also shoot NFF but I don't think they have separate rules.
