8190 is very similar to 8125 but is a smaller diameter fibre. For example I use 24 strands in my recurve string which is the equivalent of 18 strands of 8125.

So what's the advantage of having a smaller diameter strands? is it just finer control on the thickness without having to go into the insanity of odd number strand counts?
Don't know if there is necessarily an advantage I was just saying the difference. I suppose it does allow a little more option for nock fit adjustment.
