Hi guys,
It has been a while since I posted in this forum and I feel a bit guilty!
I have been having much success with my flemish twist strings using the 452X material. However, I want to start making strings in many different colours and 452X will start to get expensive!
I found a supplier of dacron (Sailing and angling shop) but they are talking about different weights and sizes of dacron. It seems to range from 80 lbs to 200 lbs. I had no idea it was that involved, I thought dacron was dacron.
I would ideally like to buy B-55 dacron as it has slightly less creep than B-50, I am told, but my question is does anyone know what poundage of dacron is recommended for string making?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
