After many years of preparation I am at last in a position to apply for a shooting licence on my land. In Spain where I live, you have to have your land inspected by the Guardia Civil before you can be granted a licence to shoot a bow and arrow on your land, be it farmland, forest or a "back garden".
It will still be a few months "if successful" before I can shoot legally on my land but it will be worth it. I am being assisted by an archery judge from the Valencia community "county" association who will come with me for the interviews with the police. Plus help in preparing the necessary safety reports. Last September Spain was hit by flooding which we took a bit of a beating, fortunately we have just got back to roughly where we were a year ago, minus a workshop and small gym.
