Wanted Recurve backpack

I'm going away and would like to bring my recurve bow with me, currenly using case, but not sure how will airline handle it (plus no lock)
I know backpacks are not that expensive brand new, but would like to try here first and see if anyone got a spare one sitting around and would like to get rid of.

Thanks.

I've no experience taking a bow on an airline but no way would I entrust delicate and critical equipment to the tender mercies of baggage handling without it being in the most robust hard case imaginable, preferably made by Pelican.

I am planning to pack them tightly with my clothes. In my check in case. So if backpack inside suitcase maybe better than check in bow case
