Recurve Limb bolts

Hi

I have got a lovely piece of laminated hardwoods comprised of about 8 contrasting layers.

About 30 inches long by 3 inches by 6 inches that was going to be used as an art base but is not needed now.

I got the idea it would make a lovely low power recurve riser but cannot find anywhere to get the limb bolt assemblies I would need.

Any ideas?

Regards

Dean

If you have access to the the materials and machinery, You may have to make your own limb pockets, ferrules and bolts as I dont think any of the major manufacturers would supply them as spares!

Dean, are you thinking of limb bolt assemblies as seen on beginners' risers or the complex versions seen on top end bows?

or maybe buy a cheepy takedown bow off the old ebay, and strip the bits from that bow? then sell on the limbs, string etc?
