Reducing poundage on a ILF Riser

Hi Guys, I'm wanting to reduce the poundage on my current limbs/set up, my limbs are 40# . I have a Spigarelli DMS Riser and my question is if I turn the Tiller bolts anti clockwise to reduce the poundage to close to 38# how far do I go, is there any possibility of turning too far and damaging the Riser ??
Thanks Tony

If you unwind them too far, the bolts could come loose when you shoot...
Typically a riser has 4 or so turns from max, downwards. That may not hit the marked weight on the limbs, depending on the make of limb/riser.
But it really depends on the riser, how much you can wind it down.

Hopefully someone will chip in with riser specific information...

Contact Spigarelli they are really helpful.
They will tell you how many turns out you can safely make from when the bolts are screwed fully in.
It was six full turns on my Spig BB but could be different for the DMS.
