Bureaucratic inertia being what it is, we shall not have to move from 2401 Burnside Rd., Victoria before year's end. I have two sparkler arrow salutes in mind: the first is tonight, and the second is New Years' Eve

Indeed, not! A barebow recurve shooter joined me at 10:00, and the pair of us saluted the field with sparkler arrows. Six in all. It was the coldest night of the year, so far.
